The Black Terror vs Boss Cohlan and the Bridge

from Exciting Comics #10

It thought this was a good "Terror Tale," especially for his second appearance. It's got all the classic Black Terror elements, Bob, Tim and Jean are there, and somehow it uses the protection racket, corrupt government and shoddy materials tropes that are common in Golden Age stories all in one story! Gabrielson's line work is crisp if a little static. The 15 page count is a little high, the pacing starts to drag a bit before the final act, but other than that it's a solid tale, and while it may not offer a lot of ingenuity it is quintessential Black Terror.

Funny to see the part of Bob acted by Pat Ryan in his "aeronautical engineer" disguise (minus mustache). Great story.
